API v1.0 Deprecation & Migration to New TransFi API
We are excited to announce the rollout of our newly upgraded TransFi API! With this new release, we have drastically improved performance, streamlined our payment and compliance workflows, and added more robust tooling for Payouts, Collections, and Crypto/Fiat Ramps.
As part of this transition, we are officially announcing the deprecation of the TransFi API v1.0, effective May 1, 2026.
🗓️ Key Dates to Remember
- Deprecation Date (May 1, 2026): After this date, API v1.0 will enter "maintenance mode." No new features, payment methods, or updates will be added to v1.0. We will only patch critical security bugs.
- End-of-Life / Sunset Date: June 1, 2026 – On this date, the v1.0 API endpoints will be permanently deactivated. All requests to v1.0 endpoints will fail.

💡 Why the Change?
Our new API architecture was built from the ground up to provide businesses with a more seamless integration experience:
- Simplified Endpoints: A cleaner, more unified REST structure for Collections, Payouts, and On/Off Ramp scenarios.
- Better Webhooks: Enhanced webhook event payload structures for real-time tracking of KYC statuses and payment orders.
- Enhanced Compliance Engine: Smoother KYC/KYB document handling and individual/business account setup.
🛠️ Action Required
If your application currently relies on the v1.0 endpoints, you will need to migrate your integrations to the new API before the sunset date.
Steps to migrate:
- Review the New API Documentation.
- We have full fledged postman collection with all the APIs with currencies and use-case ready to migrate faster.
- Update your webhook listeners to support the new event payload schemas.
- Test your integration in the sandbox environment.
